Tailor-made safaris

The easiest way to create a safari is to take a fixed itinerary and sell it repeatedly. The more rewarding way is to begin with the traveller.

Perhaps your priority is big cats. Perhaps it is the Great Migration. Perhaps you have only seven days and want the strongest possible wildlife experience. Perhaps you have three weeks and want to combine remote southern Tanzania with Zanzibar. Perhaps you are travelling with children. Perhaps you are celebrating an anniversary and want privacy above everything else.

Your journey should reflect those priorities.

We consider your travel dates, budget, accommodation preferences, pace, interests and practical requirements before designing the route. We look at whether domestic flights would improve the journey or whether road travel would add something meaningful. We consider how many nights you need in each destination and whether moving frequently is actually worthwhile.

Tailor-made does not mean complicated. Sometimes the best itinerary is remarkably simple: a few carefully chosen locations, excellent accommodation, a private vehicle and enough time to enjoy each place.

At other times, the right journey may involve multiple regions, internal flights, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar.

The point is not to create the longest itinerary or include the greatest number of properties.

The point is to create your Tanzania.
